Meet Sarah

Sarah Qian is a serial brand builder who has incubated, launched and scaled new business models at customer-first platforms like Amazon, Nordstrom and FabFitFun, building their capabilities across brand strategy, product marketing and go to market planning, merchandising and growth marketing. She connects the dots between acute customer needs and product relevancy, creating integrated stories between product features, content and channels to capture multi-generational audiences. She is an investor and advisor for several early stage DTC start-ups focused on improving family and environmental health, helping to steward brands through 8 and 9-figure revenue inflection points.

Sarah has been a digital nomad for most of her 15+ year career, having worked and lived in 4 continents and 12 countries, and fortunately has convinced her husband Dan, and children Meeks and Lulu to join her in the pursuit of continued discovery and exploration (and best chicken rice).

Meet Lauren

Lauren Kleinman is the co-founder of The Quality Edit, a media company curating and reviewing the best DTC brands, and the founder of Dreamday, a marketing and growth consultancy focusing on performance PR and affiliate marketing. Lauren was most recently part of the Founding Team and VP of Marketing & Growth at Ritual, where she led marketing and growth from the brand’s inception and helped build one of the most successful and influential brands in DTC Health.

Prior to Ritual, Lauren was an early employee and Director of Communications & Special Projects at Scopely, where she helped build the PR, Recruiting and HR teams from inception. Scopely today has over 800 employees and it was recently valued at $3.3B. Lauren is passionate about building brands, communities, awareness, and driving acquisition for disruptive companies that she wants to help share with the world. Lauren resides in Los Angeles with her husband Andy, two children Alexander and Leia, and two English Retrievers, Rocky and Apollo.

Meet Kourtney

Kourtney Simons is a global media & entertainment, high-tech marketing, comms & sales exec. She’s a fast-paced, high-performance innovation junkie with an avid curiosity and a bold entrepreneurial spirit. Previously, she was Netflix’s Head of Content Marketing for Europe, Middle East, and Africa helping to create cross-country alignment and drive global campaigns.

Before Netflix, she worked at Disney Studios and led International Marketing Strategy & Communications across brand properties (Marvel, Pixar, Animation, Lucasfilm). Prior to moving out to Los Angeles, Kourtney was an Accenture consultant in New York managing cross-industry clients from Telecom and Pharma to Financial Services and the Public sector.

Whilst a New Yorker at heart, she loves globetrotting and enjoys the Vitamin D-enriching LA sun, tennis, and reading memoirs or history books on the beach.

Meet Lily

Lily Badger is an innovative, results-driven Brand Marketing Leader with 10+ years of experience in branding, marketing and e-commerce with a particular interest in social-mission. Lily started out her career in brand management at FIJI Water and Unilever, after which she helped build brand and marketing capabilities at Lyft and Thrive Market.

She enjoyed her entrepreneurship classes in business school, but hadn’t had a chance to put the learnings into practice until recently when she was recruited by a former colleague from FIJI Water to lead marketing for HOP WTR … and loving every minute.

She currently lives in LA with her husband and toddler, Oliver. They’ll never leave because, well, why would they?

Meet Reina

Reina Govindarajan started out her career on the founding team of one of the world’s top retail B2B applications, NuORDER, as the global Head of Account Management & Customer Success. Capitalizing on a decade of fashion industry experience, Reina’s contributions enabled the company to scale its client base from less than 20 to over 600 in 2.5 years.

In 2016, Reina joined the women’s lifestyle membership company FabFitFun to take on the challenge of building out the company’s partnerships and e-commerce businesses. Reina played an instrumental role in helping the company’s subscription box scale from less than 50,000 members to over 1 million in less than three years, and led the e-commerce business from less than 1% to 30% of the company’s total revenue.

Currently, Reina consults for premier clients in the beauty and wellness space in the areas of e-commerce and strategic brand partnerships and sales. She currently resides in her hometown of Los Angeles, CA with her two pups Aloo & Gobi.

Meet Danielle

Danielle Silveira is an analytically-driven growth marketer who has a passion for enhancing customer retention metrics and has deep experience with subscription and marketplace models. She specializes in ensuring a seamless customer journey, from the first ad a customer clicks to the welcome drip email they receive, all while hitting subscription milestones.

She has led DTC growth teams at LA-based startups Winc, Saucey, Airvet, and Goop — conceptualizing and testing new initiatives aimed at improving the product strategy, customer engagement, and the acquisition conversion funnel to maximize LTV and increase NPS.

Danielle currently resides in Los Angeles, CA with her partner and their adopted pup, Boomer. She spends her free time volunteering for the non-profit organization Minds Matter of Los Angeles, where she can work directly with driven and determined high school students to help them get into the college of their dreams.
